Biography
Born on October 1st, 1968 in Los Angeles, California, this blonde
bombshell is not only known as the "Queen of the Internet," but
also as a talkshow host, model and actress. It all started when
Cindy was working on a project for a college business course she
was taking. She took her project idea of greeting cards further and
launched her own greetihng card line, with Cindy as the cover model
for the cards. Agents started to ask about this greeting card cover
girl, considering the fact that the company was a hugh success.
Cindy began to model and appeared in ads for Reebok, Vidal Sassoon,
Coors, Hanes and Sunkist. Cindy then moved on to television
appearances on shows such as "Married...with Children," "Murphy
Brown," "Baywatch," "Baywatch Nights," "In the Dark," and "Head
Over Heels." Her first foray into television was as a Barker
Beauty, a hostess on the game show, "The Price Is Right." Her
popularity on the internet started when she appeared on "Extr" in
1995. Since then, she has been named Yahoo Internet Life magazine's
"Queen of the Internet" from 1996-1999. She has been downloaded
worldwide over 58 million times and has been inducted into The
Guinness Book of World Records 2000 Millennium Issue, for having
been downloaded 70,000 times in a period of 24 hours. For her reign
in the cyber world, Cindy will be featured in the New Ripley's
Believe It or Not museums. Cindy Margolis is married to Guy
Starkman, who owns Jerry's Famous Deli, met on a blind date.
