Biography
Rachel True has been working for most of the 1990's. She broke into
the business with a recurring role on the NBC sitcom "The Cosby
Show." In 1993, Rachel moved to L.A., she then appeared in the rap
parody "CB4"(1993) with Chris Rock. Also she landed a recurring
role on the HBO sitcom "Dream On." She made guest appearances on
several other television series including Beverly Hills, 90210 and
also Boston Common. Television movies followed with including
Moment of Truth: Stalking Back ('93) and A Walton Wedding ('95). In
1994 she was seen alongside Alyssa Milano is the erotic thriller,
Embrace of the Vampire. It was in 1996 that the bi-racial actress
started getting noticed by the press, after appearing as a teenage
witch in the cult-hit The Craft. Following that came the indie
flick Nowhere (1997), and then she played Dave Chappelle's romantic
interest in Half-Baked. During 1997, she also had a role on the ABC
sitcom The Drew Carrey Show. Now, in 1999, she is seen in another
ABC sitcom, Now and Again. New projects include The Big Slit and
the movie Groove, due out in 2000.
